DISTURBED To Team Up With P.O.D., ALTER BRIDGE For Tour Of Australia, New Zealand
June 29, 2008Chicago heavy rockers DISTURBED will embark on a headlining tour of Australia and New Zealand in late August/early September. Also scheduled to appear are P.O.D. and ALTER BRIDGE.
The tour dates are as follows:

Sep. 02 - Brisbane Entertainment Centre, AUS
Sep. 03 - Hordern Pavilion, Sydney, AUS
Sep. 04 - Newcastle Entertainment Centre, AUS
Sep. 06 - Festival Hall, Melbourne, AUS
Sep. 09 - Vector Arena, Auckland, NZ
Sep. 10 - TSB Arena, Wellington, NZ
Sep. 12 - Westpac Trust Arena, Christchurch, NZ
DISTURBED's new album, "Industructible", sold 253,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release to debut at position No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart.
The band's previous two albums, 2005's double-platinum "Ten Thousand Fists" (first-week sales: 238,000) and 2002's platinum "Believe" (first-week sales: 284,000),both also debuted at No. 1.
DISTURBED's best-selling release to date is its 2000 debut, "The Sickness", which has shifted nerly four million copies in the U.S. alone, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
DISTURBED will co-headline this summer's Rockstar Energy Mayhem tour with SLIPKNOT, beginning on July 9 in Seattle.
